Dog Daycare in a Safe, Fun & Enriching Environment in Hamilton County

Located in Fishers, Indiana, Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center is a local dog daycare that offers a personalized care experience. At our 26,000 sq. ft. facility, including 10,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor play space, we provide enrichment daycare for dogs that emphasizes structured play, mental stimulation, and personalized attention in a safe, fun environment. With thoughtfully designed play spaces and highly trained, certified staff, your dog will enjoy days filled with fun, activity, and socialization.

We believe daycare should be more than just supervised playtime—it should enrich your dog's life. Our unique approach ensures your complete peace of mind. Your dog will return home happy, positively engaged, and ready for cuddles with loved ones.

Our Dog Daycare Program

Our base rate for reserving a room for the day will include a minimum of four potty breaks, their own Kuranada bed, and basic care such as feeding and medicating as needed. Your pup will still have the chance to engage in play with canine friends if they would like, and they will also have the chance for mentally and physically stimulating enrichment outside of the group environment!

Your dog will love our resort-style facility equipped with XGrass Canine Turf, doggie pools, shade sails, dog-safe playground equipment, and toys. Indoors, they’ll enjoy padded flooring, toys, and soothing resting spaces. In all play spaces, dogs are separated by size, age, and temperament to keep playtime safe and fun.

Is Your Dog Ready for Fun?

Dogs must be up to date on their rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccines, good with other dogs, and have a clean bill of health to be qualified for group play. While not required, we also strongly recommend your dog be vaccinated against influenza.

Males over the age of 6 months that are not neutered and females in heat are not eligible for group play, but they can participate in all other programs.

Your Dog Is Unique. So Are Our Daycare Programs.

The design of our dog daycare programs are the result of an entire year of collecting data, attending conferences on the latest dog behavior studies, help from our friends at the Dog Gurus, and a whole lot of creative thinking. Dogs are very social by nature. However, only about 40% of dogs are suited for or enjoy a group play setting. So, we take a personalized approach, creating a program that will work for your furry family member’s needs and temperament. We can accommodate:

The People Dog

These dogs do not enjoy the company of other dogs. They may even try to start some trouble if they come in too close of contact with other dogs. They fulfill their pack needs with humans. And they usually LOVE humans.

The Wallflower

These dogs don’t mind other dogs but, would prefer not to be in a crowd with them. A lot of these dogs end up in group settings simply because they tolerate the group. They usually hang out by themselves or choose a corner of the play space to make camp in. They’re not there to make trouble but they’re not really having a great time.

The High Drive Dog

Throw the ball! Throw the ball! No one else in this group matters but that ball is life! These dogs may even be protective of their ball or toy and not appreciate others getting involved in their game. A high drive dog may also turn their group play setting into a game or a challenge. These guys can cause trouble without meaning too.

The Every-Dog-is-My-Friend Dog

These dogs are very social within their own species. They love every dog they meet and share their space and toys well. Their preferred energy outlet is romping around with their friends. They listen to other dog’s social cues and have strong cues of their own.

The I'm Working on Myself Dog

As a training facility, we see many dogs that are under socialized with people and other dogs. These dogs are working on themselves by learning how to control impulse, emotions, or even learn doggie social cues.

The Lounger

These dogs prefer to lounge in the comfort of their room and watch the activities of the day happen. Getting out to potty and stretch their legs is all the activity they’re looking for.

A Structured Dog Daycare Experience That Exceeds Industry Standards

At Paws & Play, we've proudly exceeded industry standards set by The Dog Gurus for over a decade, emphasizing a balanced approach of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and essential rest periods. Rather than constant open play, which risks overstimulation, we offer structured group sessions with dedicated rest breaks in private, comfortable rooms, allowing dogs to reach deeper, restorative sleep crucial for brain health. Our daycare prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and overall well-being, ensuring your dog enjoys a fun, enriching experience tailored to their individual needs.

Our daycare schedule includes:

  • 8 AM – 10 AM: Morning enrichment session or a relaxing walk.
  • 11 AM – 1 PM: Structured group play or personalized one-on-one interaction, grouped by size, age, and temperament.
  • 2PM - 4PM: Second enrichment activity, training exercises, or an additional leisurely walk.

We are a local, family-owned dog care business that goes above and beyond to create a environment where your dog will thrive. See what pet parents are saying about us!

"Paws and Play was exactly what we needed, when I decided to take our Trixie to daycare. The staff go above and beyond to meet every dogs needs. Trixie has come a long way in overcoming her fear of people, and loves to go to group play! She spends one night there a month, and is very well cared for. She has been going for over 2 years, and we are so thankful for all they have done for our Trixie. I highly recommend Paws and Play for all your dog’s daycare, training and boarding needs."

"Amazing facility that cares about dog comfortability, enrichment, and fun! They review and alter daycare and boarding guidelines in order to create the best experience for your pup, while also not overloading them. As a family-owned business you can tell that they not only care about your pups but you as a client as well. The training programs are customizable and they really know what they are doing. The groomers/bathers make the dog's experience fear-free. This is a one of a kind place. Highly recommend!"

"After touring several stay-and-train facilities in the area, we wholeheartedly chose this one to board our new puppy and help her learn some new skills. The decision was an easy one, as this clean and beautiful facility truly stood out! Their seamless communication ensured that we were always reassured that our little one was not only being well cared for but genuinely loved by everyone. I can't recommend this place enough -we even nicknamed it "Doggy Disneyland"!"

"We left the the country for 10 days and boarded our puppy at Paws & Play. The cost was extremely fair for the service. We included the training package. They sent us pictures and report cards letting us know his progress, and when he was fed. They also coordinated directly with our vet to get the correct medications he needed and were able to get them there simply by texting. Everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend Paws & Play. We’ve gone a few places and they didn’t compare."
