Trick Dog Workshop

Hosted by: Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center & Ashley Bowers
Dates: November 9th & 10th
Location: Paws & Play Dog Resort & Training Center

What is trick training? Trick training is all about having fun while bonding with your dog! We can teach our dogs how to perform tasks for us, or just show off fun behaviors such as roll over and spin. Teaching a dog new tricks is a great way to exercise your dog and provide a mental energy outlet. Tricks are also a great tool for fearful dogs as it can be modified to set the dog up for success and will boost their confidence! You can either chose to earn your certification as AKC Trick Dog or Do More With Your Dog by Kyra Sundance!

The instructors for this weekend workshop will be Paws & Play's Ashley Bowers and Tiffany Lambert!

Ashley has a special interest in therapy work and task related training. She has worked with several organizations such as ICAN and Medical Mutts to train and prepare service animals, and the Pets Healing Vets program to pair emotional support animals with Veterans.

She has certifications as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, Canine Conditioning Coach, Pedestal Training Instructor, and has her Trick Dog Instructor certification.
